POLITEMP S has been specially developed for processes where it can be measured several times, in moderate volumes of metal, where the temperature irradiation does not have the side of the sensor as its main point of contact (ovens, pans or other places with the bath surface close to the edge). With its ceramic thermal protection, it is best used in furnaces weighing around 1000 Kg, steel smelting blast furnaces (pig iron industry), micro-melting furnaces, moderate hand pans, etc. Its best application is between 600ºC (1112ºF) and 1700ºC (3092ºF) with the bath surface free of slag, impurities and solid materials.
