S" Compensation Cables

"S" Compensation Cables with rubber insulation are suitable for installations in "S" type systems where they are exposed to the harsh environment of melting, impacts, metal splashes and mechanical traction. Although they are more resistant than other types of cabling, as they transmit signals in the order of mV (millivolts), they must be replaced periodically. The use of this compensation cable is essential for the perfect functioning, reliability and calibration of the "S" type measuring system.

The "S" Compensation Cables have the same electronic characteristics as the "S" type immersion thermocouples, to guarantee the reliability of the measurement system and the transmission of the sensor signal to the instrument electronics. With rubber insulation, they are used where the cable is exposed to the environment and are resistant to the conditions of the foundry environment. Made of bi-directional copper alloy, the insulation between them is rubber: red negative (-) and black positive, 2 x 18AWG. The color pattern complies with the ANSI standard. They are applicable to INDICMAX, configured for use with fixed bars, or "S" type measuring systems.
