Its outer insulation is made of green aramid fiber (according to ANSI standards), which helps disperse heat in the cable and makes it easier to remove for maintenance or replacement of the lance. The RECEPTACLE, a contact block where the immersion sensors with ceramic or cardboard protection are fitted, is installed in this cable.
